The Government of Canada and the Province of New Brunswick recently announced the allocation of $38 million in funding for a variety of projects that will enhance New Brunswick’s fishing and seafood sector. New Brunswick Expresses Its Support For Aquaculture After B.C. Fish Farm Ban

Open net-pen salmon farming may be banned in British Columbia, but New Brunswick Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries Minister Margaret Johnson wants the industry to know that New Brunswick “has always been” and will continue to be a “strong supporter” of the salmon aquaculture industry.
